Island Festival 2023 Budapest
August 10-15, 2023 between Sziget Festival again in Budapest

The first Sziget Festival opened its doors to a very small audience in 1993, but since then it has grown into one of the largest music festivals in Europe.Every year, the organizers work to bring the biggest performers to their Citizens and provide space for more than 1,000 performances on 60 different stages, for 6 full days.
More than 100 nations are represented on the Island, and visitors also come from countries as far away as Brazil or New Zealand. This peaceful meeting of cultures – in the spirit of music, celebration and fun – is what Freedom Island is really about.
Although music is at the center of the Sziget, art also plays a key role every year. Circus, dance, theater, performances, museums, fine art venues: it’s hard to list how many programs await festival-goers at every moment of the day. Artists and performers come from all over the world, but every Citizen has the opportunity to create.
